This was a special
event as part of the World Gourmet Summit. We exhibited our
artwork in the Event Registration building.
The
event was another success, with artwork being sold and lots of new
contacts made with interested art buyers. This event was
open to the public, however, visitors needed to register and pay
admission to the World Market Summit's "Grand Gourmet Safari Trail",
which was $85 per person per day, and gave visitors all inclusive
admission to wine tasting with wines from various nations, as well
as food stations from top local restaurateurs.

Here
are photos and some if the highlights of this past event: |

|
|
|

Las Vegas mayor
Oscar Goodman dropped by and was shown the Artists of Las Vegas
exhibit. He indicated his support and assistance for the project. |
| |
|
|
 |
|
Artwork from more
than 20 different local Las Vegas artists were on display throughout
the 2-day event.
All artwork was for
sale at the event. If you missed it, you can still purchase any of
the paintings on our
website or call (702) 682-2902 to order by phone. |
| With the event theme
being in food and beverage, the most favored artwork depicted
entertainment and Las Vegas showgirls. |
|
 |
 |
|
Exhibited artwork
included the exciting wine-rock sculptures by Las Vegas artist and
sculptress Sharon Gainsburg, which recently released this new line
of rock sculptures. |
| Las Vegas artist Ruel
James had several paintings on display, depicting such great singers
and musicians, as Ray Charles, Dizzie Gilespie, Ella Fitzgerald and
Louis Armstrong. |
|
 |
 |
|
Visitors and great Chefs from around the country and the world
attended this event, tasting some of the best food available and the
finest wines on the market, while enjoying beautiful artwork by
local Las Vegas artists. |
|
Las Vegas
artist Vera Richarda donated one of her new sculptures based on
ancient Greek mythology.
"Penthesilea"
was auctioned off during the Saturday event, and proceeds
benefited young hospitality students. |
